This office was designed for a realtor. As the office is opened to the main floor of the house, masculine presence is juxtaposed with feminine accents. My job was to source all furniture and the rug, design the coffer ceiling, the window coverings, choose wall colour and style the space. The room was big enough to include a small sitting area. The massive wooden wall unit is balanced by a glass coffee table, a crystal chandelier and soft window coverings.
The piano/music room has been created in the space where the dining room used to be. The space is adorned with a traditional silk carpet grounding the piano. The room is a nod to traditional style, but a mid-century style chandelier and contemporary art and curtains keep this space current.
