For this clients I redesigned the principal bedroom together with the ensuite bathroom and the guest bathroom (Jack & Jill type), servicing two guest bedrooms.
The bedroom is adorned with crown moulding and wall trim. A stunning custom made curtain layered on top of sheers and a beautiful custom made bed and night tables with Hudson Valley wall sconces on one wall; and a stunning large millwork unit with lots of storage and a pretty desk/vanity table on the other wall.
There is a beautiful sight-line towards the en-suite bathroom. The master bathroom is a retreat, where your eyes land on a variety of feminine and masculine design elements.
I placed the elegant standing tub against a baubles marble mosaic and a coordinated custom made roman blind that adds softness. Your eyes are drawn up towards a stunning chandelier that completes this corner of the bathroom to make it a space to unwind and relax at the end of the day.
Moving on towards the other side, your eyes land on a happy wall art before they see the navy blue custom cabinet with lots of storage. The Restoration Hardware sconces are layered on top of the large mirror, reflecting light throughout the bathroom.
On the other side, I repeated the marble mosaic in the large walk-in shower with a rain shower head.
The guest bathroom is Jack & Jill style, with access from both guest bedrooms. This bathroom is more feminine, with marble throughout: floor and walk in shower. I balanced the white and light grey marble with black plumbing fixtures and black and brass hardware and Hudson Valley sconces. The cabinets are custom, with a tower in between the two sinks, adding lots of storage.
